Compressed Air Solutions Ltd will look to establish processes and procedures to ensure continual improvement in environmental performance and pollution prevention by way of:

• Complying with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations relevant to the day to day operations of the business
• Complying with other environmental requirements as set by industry codes of practise, contractual requirements, voluntary agreements or restrictions
• Sourcing and promoting a product range to minimise the environmental impact of key suppliers production and distribution
• Minimising non hazardous waste produced by day to day operations of the business by working with other businesses to reuse and recycle packaging and other reusable materials
• Ensuring all potentially hazardous substances stored on the premises are kept in a manner as to minimise the possibility of escape to the environment
• Minimising hazardous waste produced by day to day operations by maintaining customers compressed air equipment in accordance with manufacturers guidelines
• Monitoring the amount and content of additional non hazardous waste disposed of by way of waste reports from waste disposal contractors
• Minimising the toxic emissions from all vehicles by maintaining them in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and car sharing where possible
• Actively reducing energy consumption by implementing a ‘switch off’ policy for any equipment not in use and by providing all office staff with LCD screens
• Undertaking annual management meetings to review the environmental performance of the business

Compressed Air Solutions will look to communicate the commitment to continual improvement and pollution prevention by way of:

• Providing training for all staff to raise awareness of environmental issues and enlist theirsupport in improving the company’s performance
• Making the policy available to all employees, customers, suppliers, members of the public and any other interested persons or parties
